The 2019-2020 season by Danielle Le Saux-Farmer – WHAT UNITES US
The Other.
The one we fear. The one who piques our interest.
Who tells us who we are.
The connection we feel to the Other – this is what unites us.
This season’s productions are chiaroscuros of light and shadow, questioning our individuality versus that of the Other – in terms of our ideas, our values, and our history. Without compromise, these productions create an arena for notions of politics and identity to come together, and hence trace a vibrant portrait of our social fabric in all its contradictions; of the fear of the unknown; of separation and destruction, to renewal.
