Copeaux is the story of a crumbling relationship, a tale of endings, and of the things left behind in their wake. Copeaux portrays the failure of love in all its mundane and devastating glory. The production takes inspiration from the visual universe of the artist Stefan Thompson, a universe populated by animals, bizarre figures, and dream-like forests. Copeaux is a poem in which each image is meant to occupy a space somewhere in between a dream, reality, and regret.
